The Fernhurst Centre is a Community Centre and Internet Cafe offering Broadband internet and computing facilities, and a range of courses. The Fernhurst Centre’s bright and friendly environment is an ideal place to meet friends over a cup of tea or coffee, find out local information or even make a free telephone call to local council offices to request assistance.

Cappuccino, Latte and Espresso Coffee

We have recently made some improvements to the Centre's layout look and feel and have got a sparkling new coffee machine and are offering the super Nespresso Coffees you get in posh cafes but at Fernhurst prices (£1.20p for cappuccino and latte and £1 for espresso). Why not drop in with your friends and have a relaxing time over a cuppa. We also serve a selection of teas and yummy hot chocolate.

Want an early coffee? We are now open at 0900 am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

New! Free after Three! Broadband usage is free after 3pm everyday. Printing charges will still be made.

Reminder! Our Broadband prices are only 50p for half an hour or 25p if you are16 or under.

New! Crafty Kids Morning: Next Fun sessions during summer holidays Thursday 29th October 10 am - 12 noon. Charge: £3 per child or £4 per family ticket. Places must be booked in advance at the Centre as space is limited so we cannot guarantee places on the day.

New! Kids Club Book Time: New monthly group for 0 - 5 year olds - bring along a favourite book for our story-teller to share. For more information call Ingrid on 642804. To reserve a place drop-in, call or email the Centre. Next session Monday 27 September 3.45 pm - 4.45pm. 50p per child, includes refreshments. Older children welcome to use free computers or sit at the homework table.

New! "New Mums" drop-in: About to have a baby or have a new-born and want to meet other mums? New weekly informal drop-in: just turn up any Monday at 2pm for a chat with other mums.
