The Fernhurst Centre is both a Community Centre and Internet Cafe run and managed entirely by volunteers. It has lots to offer including:
A varied refreshment menu including Cappuccino - Latte - Cafetiere - Fruit Teas etc
Broadband internet, WI-Fi - no booking required
All computers have a wide range of software
A3 colour printer
A range of courses both IT and leisure
Don't forget - Broadband usage is Free after Three! Printing charges will still be made.

How to Sell on ebay: eBay is a popular auction website where individuals can buy and sell new and second-hand items. This demonstration will show you how to sell a single item on eBay and that there is nothing to fear, so long as you follow a few simple steps, and, of course, remember it is just fun! £10 for two hour session.
New Course - iPad - Skype and Facetime: A one session course of two hours designed to get you going on Skype and Facetime. With the free Skype app on your iPad you can talk "face to face" free with someone across the street or across the world on their pc, iPad, tablet, smart phone etc .Facetime is the same although both"ends" have to be Apple devices. Facetime is a little easier to use. Wednesday 17 June 11 am - 1pm.
iPad - Digital Photography:Taking pictures with your iPad, putting your pics into Albums, editing photos using the Photos app. Managing your pics on your iPad, pc and iCloud. It will also include a review of some selected Photo apps available in the App store.
If you havenít got and iPad but have a Tablet using the Android system we have a course for you. 'An Introduction to using your Android Tablet' Thursday 25 June 11 am - 1pm £20. Please note that this course is not suitable for the Kindle Fire or phones using the Android system.
iPad - An Introduction: Learn how to get the most from your new iPad. Setting up, connectin to WiFi and much more besides. Wednesday 15 and 22 July 10.30 - 12.30 £20. Places must be booked in advance.

New Course - Producing Forms and Mail Merge. Learn how to prdouce forms etc in Word and also keeping your addresses tidy and easy to use with the Word Mail Merge facility.
